Spoilers for Christ

In our church, several families left a certain legalistic group. They couldn’t really say why they left except that the message no longer met the needs of their hearts. In fact, I know that some of them were “spoiled” forever by the positive message of love and acceptance in Jesus. They could never go back to the legalism. Now, understand that some of them never actually embraced grace. They wander even now. But, quite honestly, I would rather have them wander than allow them to think that the legalism was the truth of Christ. When the time is right some of them will find that Jesus is a real Person who loves them and they will find the joy of their hearts.   Being spoiled will move them to seek something more.
