Passive?

The message of grace is about resting in your relationship with the Lord. Some people think that means we are passive and that we do nothing. Not so! Those who walk with Jesus, following Him and acting as He leads, are the ones who are actually doing something. Those who work for Him, without being led by Him, are accomplishing nothing. There will be a lot of “champion evangelists” who miss Heaven because they never really knew the Lord. (Matthew 7:21-23) They were too busy trying to earn spiritual points. We don’t need spiritual points because Jesus is enough for us. He is our life, our righteousness, our hope; and He fulfills the requirements of God in us.

Just because we receive all that we need, simply because of His love, does not mean that we are passive in the relationship.  We walk with the Lord who loves us.  That’s what it means to live in grace.
