I have had a couple of comments and requests to check into why people are not receiving the “Narcissist Friday” posts by email. I don’t see anything wrong with the site, but I am not sure why this might be happening. Please feel free to re-subscribe using the link on the upper left corner, just under the header. I can’t sign people up on my own.
And please let me know if this is happening to you. (Of course, you can only do that if you see this. 🙂 )

I am getting mine! Thank you! I recently re-met another narcissist had known him since thirteen. I studied narcissism after the first one and they seem to be created by circumstances rather than born a narcissist. I remember that being a big question for me when I studied it. After knowing this person since thirteen I now believe it happens over time and they are not born narcissist. It’s been a very sad and hard thing to see.
I’m getting mine all right.

Still receiving my posts. There was a time during the year that they stopped. If I go to the site and check it out each time I see a post it seems to be OK for next week. I wonder if people are clicking on the ‘Notify me of new comments via email’ and more especially ‘Notify me of new posts via email.’ If you stop ticking that box EACH time you reply…. it seems they don’t come.

Hi Pastor Dave
Thankfully I am still receiving these emails. They have been a God-send to hear you articulate what I have been experiencing but did not understand. God’s promise of seek and you shall find is such a blessed truth. I believe God led me to your website when I was struggling to understand my parents behavior and words. I never knew that someone could embody our sinful human nature completely devoid of grace and yet deceive so many. I understand now how Stockholm syndrome, trauma bonding, cognitive dissonance, CPTSD, can stand in the way of unshackling the chains that kept me a prisoner in fear. I have also been blessed and saddened by the many people who post comments to your blogs, blessed knowing I’m not alone and there are people who understand the hell I’ve been through and saddened at the stories of other victims. May God continue to bless you as you share the gospel “salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us….and to enable us to serve him without fear”.

Thanks everyone! Especially for the kind words. (If you don’t see your comment here, it may be because I felt you gave too much personal contact information. I do try to protect as much as I can.) It appears that the posts are going out normally. If you are not receiving them, please let me know. We have nearly 2000 subscribers, and I want everyone to be connected. This is a caring and intelligent group!
Also, if you feel that you might have given too much info, like your full, real, name, you are able to edit your own comment. Feel free to do that. When you change your posting name, it should change for all your previous comments. Also, please feel free to use a pseudonym or just post as anonymous.
